is a fact
according to Atle. He found nothing about this phenomena on the Internet which
was kind of surprise as someone says you can find everything on the net. Albeit
extremely weak (not too different from gravity) it exists. That is in Atle’s
opinion… If the Law of Mental Gravity is a real thing or a joke is up to you to
decide (Atle has already decided what to think about this…).
Then we can move
on to the hard facts.
«Gravitation or gravity is a natural phenomenon by which all physical
bodies attract each other. Gravity gives weight to physical
objects and causes them to fall toward the ground when dropped.» http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitation
Furtheron you can read: «For most situations gravity is
well approximated by Newton's law of universal
gravitation, which postulates that the gravitational force of two bodies
of mass is directly proportional to the product of their
masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance
between them. [ ] In pursuit of a theory of everything, the merging of general
relativity and quantum mechanics (or quantum field theory) into a more general
theory of quantum gravity has become an area of active research.
[ ] Gravity is the weakest of the four fundamental forces of nature. The
gravitational force is approximately 10−38 times the strength of the
strong force (i.e. gravity is 38 orders of magnitude weaker), 10−36
times the strength of the electromagnetic force, and 10−29 times the
strength of the weak force. As a consequence, gravity has a negligible
influence on the behavior of sub-atomic particles, and plays no role in
determining the internal properties of everyday matter.»
Postulate 1 All
mental activities are caused by electrical/chemical processes in the
brain/body.
Postulate 2 As
electrical/chemical processes have mass they are influenced by gravity.
Postulate 3 The
closer you are to another person/persons the stronger is the gravitational
force.
There should be no need to ruminate on these postulates as
everybody feels the results of mental gravity every single day.
Atle will now mention a few examples to convince you.
1. You sit at a table together with some
friends who have ordered a pint of beer. Even if you dislike the taste of beer
you feel a very strong urge to do the same even if you would prefer 7Up. You
know that if you order 7Up you will have to explain your choice to your
friends. This is mental gravity.
2. You are enjoying a party and want to stay
at least till after midnight. At 11 PM four of your friends say they have to go
home. They say they are sorry but they have to leave. When they are out of the
door everybody starts to rise up. End of party. This is mental gravity.
3. Someone is standing in the street pointing
up in the sky. Soon everybody is doing the same thing. Even if you know for
sure there is nothing up there you have to force yourself not to look up. This
is mental gravity.
4. In Europe there are mostly Christians. In
the Middle East there are mostly Muslims. In Thailand there are mostly
Buddhists. This is mental gravity.
There is a
plethora of other examples. Just have a try for yourself.
