Global warming – is it serious or not? Most of us, as individuals, would take action if disaster was imminent, and the writing on the wall was easy to understand. Still the world community and all countries in spite of reports about manmade climate change etc. do almost nothing else than talking. In Norway consumption is predicted to be doubled by 2050.

Bacteria resistance against antibiotics – is it serious or not? The writing on the wall says production of new antibiotics will not cope with bacteriae resistance in the near future. Big Pharma sees no immediate market for the products and will not invest money when not sure of the revenue.

Wars against terrorism, drugs etc – is it serious our not? The writing on the wall says this will go on «for ever». The winners are the arms industry and organized crime.

It seems there is hypocrisy everywhere. Maybe this is homo sapiens sapiens in a nutshell?

is a nice name. At least that is what Atle is thinking. The good thing about a name like that is that nobody will forget you when you introduce yourself…

Obesity and Ebola

It seems that Ebola is the big thing just now. Atle wonders why (as usual)? His prediction is that the disease will peter out, but Big Pharma will increase revenue helped by their loyal servants the media.

As is the case concerning obesity. Lots of medicines and miracle cures flourish while everyone who eats food should know that if you eat to much (adjusted to your activity) you will put on weight.

To make it personal – Atle is extremely lazy – when his trousers grow too small he says to himself: I am growing too big now. I have to eat less. - This works every time.

Let Ebola and obesity fill the headlines in media. Atle does not worry – he is happy while he is trying too look on the bright side of life.

Hvor er indre Enfold

har Atle undret seg over mang en gang. Noen mener at det er ett eller annet sted i Østfold, helst så nær riksgrensen til Sverige som mulig.
