After more than 4 weeks of strong winds it was possible to
fly paraglider. At Khao Son in Petchabury southwest of Bangkok there has been
too much wind for paragliding, too.
Today I could see some high clouds at 200 to 100 millibar
(probably higher than 7.000 meters) moving at a speed of about 100 knots
according to the meteorogram. Today and yesterday you could see a halo around
the sun high up.
We cut some trees which had fallen over the road close to the
launch some weeks ago. There is now also a very wide area for toplanding. I
guess it is possible to land with a hangglider there, too.
